About the Featured Artists:

Lynne Poulsen has worked in many productions and events in South Africa over the last 40 years, as a singer, keyboardist, songwriter, arranger, and producer. However, in recent years, her focus has turned to creating immersive, heart-centered group-singing experiences through The Song Medicine Workshop and The Heartsong Collective choir. Her passion is to create musical spaces that bring hope, joy, and upliftment — spaces that build bridges across culture, religion, and economic divides, and remind us of our shared humanity through song.

Roaman is an Italian singer-songwriter, artivist, and storyteller crafting transformative anthems of joy, freedom, and resilience. Weaving together sonic threads of folk, reggae, hip-hop, and gospel, his songs serve both as a balm for the troubled mind and a doorway to the heart. Vivid as a celebration and profound as a moment of meditation, his music is marked by radical authenticity, humor, and his signature blend of “Groove & Grace”.

Since his humble beginnings as a street performer, Roaman has steadily built a loyal international following through his lyricism, storytelling, and soulful live shows. His music has carried him to international festivals and lineups shared with renowned artists such as Sam Garrett, Mose, Facesoul, Ajeet, Peia, Aware’, Alex Serra, and Ape Chimba, firmly establishing him as one of the few Italian artists within a vibrant global ecosystem of conscious and devotional music

Hymnj is a South African medicine man and guide who invokes, soothes and empowers through music evolved over many years of holding healing ceremonies. His channelled compositions - rooted in the traditions of conscious folk and devotional singer-songwriter music - explore the vulnerable initiations of the heart and the dance between the primal and the divine. Through an evocative blend of original acoustic songs with ancient chants and prayers, and in the spirit of artists like Leonard Cohen, Trevor Hall and Ben Harper, his music calls for the rise of heart-centred consciousness and New Earth community.

Nathan Maingard is a wandering soul sharing songs of joy from the cracked open heart of a raw human. He says his mission is simple: to create a sanctuary where we can all remember our worthiness, together. He does this as a songwriter, folk alchemist, and guide for sensitive souls, using songs and stories to remember what’s true. He believes the deepest form of worship is the act of remembering our own worthiness… and his songs are an offering to that practice.

David Beretta Owens made his debut into the South African music scene in the 90’s as frontman for the much-loved rock outfit Lithium. When the members of Lithium decided to explore different music avenues in 1999, Owens went on his own musical journey that saw him explore many genres, styles and guises. One of his biggest successes during this time was melodic rock outfit N8ive, a group that quickly impressed with philosophical lyrics and catchy, intriguing songs. N8ive’s collaboration with the hit spawning hip-hop outfit Skwatta Kamp on the album Mkuku Funkshin was one of the first hip-hop/rock collaborations the country South Africa had ever seen. His solo debut ‘The Order of Things’ will appeal to all manner of people, no matter their age, culture or musical preference.

Farrell Adams has been involved in the music industry since the early 90s, when he fronted the band, Nine. A high energy rock/fusion outfit hailing from the Cape Flats.

He has since been involved in various live acts such as Firing Squad and Golliwog among others as well as collaborations with Brasse Vannie Kaap, Black Noise and Fetish. He has also toured the country quite extensively, playing a number of festivals including OppiKoppi, Up The Creek and Splashy Fen to name but a few.

He has extensive studio experience as a result of a plethora of session work he has done with various producers over the years.
