Join us for an inspiring and creative songwriting experience designed especially for girls aged 10–17 years, hosted at Pretty Loud Studios.

This hands-on workshop gives young creatives the opportunity to explore their voices, build confidence, and discover the exciting world of music creation in a supportive, empowering environment. Throughout the day, participants will develop their songwriting skills, learning how to turn ideas and emotions into lyrics, melodies, and original songs. Guided step-by-step, they will collaborate, experiment with creativity, and grow as young artists.

A highlight of the experience is the chance to perform their original songs on a real stage, celebrating their creativity in a safe and encouraging space. Participants will also capture memories through photos and videos, make new friends who share a love for music, and gain insight into how the music industry works behind the scenes.

The workshop is led by Amy Tjasink, a chart-topping songwriter and co-founder of Pretty Loud, alongside Erin Elliot, an inspiring creative mentor and passionate advocate for young artists. Erin brings a warm, encouraging energy and a strong commitment to helping young musicians feel confident expressing themselves. Together, Amy and Erin combine professional industry experience with a shared passion for nurturing the next generation of artists.

Amy and Erin will share practical knowledge about songwriting, creativity, and navigating the music industry - helping participants understand how songs move from ideas to real releases.
