Be part of a special night where art and purpose come together.
The Collectors Dinner offers a thoughtful exhibition, a shared dinner table, and opportunities to support Restoring Humanity projects, community healing dialogues and healing of memories workshops as well as other psychosocial support programmes by Institute for Healing of Memories (IHOM) and Joburg Child Welfare (JCW). This is a welcoming space for collectors, creatives, and anyone passionate about making a positive impact.
Hear the heart behind the art and be first in line to add artwork by renowned artists Great Joy Ndlovu to your collection. A portfolio of limited handmade prints donated by the MTN Foundation will be on display, including the Commemorating Sophiatown portfolio featuring works by internationally acclaimed Nelson Makamo, Karen Bareuther, Philemon Hlungwani, Ramarutha Malapane, Bongani Makoba, Abe Mathabe, Bongile Mkhize, Flora More, Simon Mthimkulu; as well as the 30 Years in Soweto: From Resistance to Leadership portfolio of handmade prints, featuring works by Bongi Bengu, Bongi Mkhize, Flora Mmaphoko More, Vincent Baloyi, Muzi Donga, Charles Nkosi and Mmakgabo Helen Sebidi. Artwork donations from well-known pastel artist Lena Hugo (formerly known as Helena) will form part of the exhibition.
