ABOUT

Freshlyground are one of South Africa's much loved musical acts. They have been playing in SA and internationally for over a decade and their sound has take on a new punchy sound with the new band line up. Led by singer Zolani Mahola, Freshlyground blend traditional kwela and African folk with jazz, blues and an indie rock sensibility into a distinctive and refreshing style and sound.
A great act for the whole family to enjoy.
Mazula is the original writings of husband and wife duo, Vusa & Zoe Mazula. After 17 years of enjoying each other’s music, they sat down to write together and have not stopped writing and performing together ever since that day three years ago. Their sound can be described as Hip, funky, African Folk, Hop. With no set band members and a dream to tour Africa and the World to collaborate with different accomplished musicians, forming an ever changing tapestry of a musical journey. They are currently recording their album due for release in 2018 to be followed with a tour of South Africa. Mazula, Awaken the Gift of Life’s Wonderers!
