DEAD DAD

Louw Venter and Rob Van Vuuren present DEAD DAD, the long-awaited sequel to their smash hit The Best Man’s Speech. The original ran for five years in theatres, was translated into Afrikaans as Strooijonker, and eventually became the celebrated feature film Konfetti.

Now Rob Van Vuuren returns to direct while Louw Venter reprises his role as the hapless Lukas.

DEAD DAD is that rare theatrical space where comedy collides with tragedy and spits in the face of grief. After this eulogy, you’ll begin to realise that death is the easy part.
