NCESH NONXISHI: MY FIRST SHOW EKHAYA

The singer and songwriter, Ncesh Nonxishi, brings her award-winning debut album, Apho Kungenje, to the Eastern Cape for the very first time. Born eMdantsane and raised eMncotsho naseNtabuzuko, Ncesh Nonxishi’s songs are deeply influenced by the music she heard during her childhood and everywhere that life has taken her. This is a storyteller who combines reflections on history, politics, social issues, sexual intimacy and everyday issues to capture her feelings about the world she lives in.

She will be joined by a full 8-piece band performing songs from Apho Kungenje as well as other original compositions.
