ABOUT
The ‘Save Our Dunes’ Pentathlon Relay is back!
Following the success of last year’s first-ever event, St Francis Sport and the Kromme Enviro-Trust are excited to announce the return of the ‘Save Our Dunes’ Pentathlon Relay, taking place at the beautiful Dune Ridge Country House just outside St Francis Bay.
This unique community event combines physical challenge, teamwork, endurance and a dash of brainpower — all while having plenty of fun and supporting an important environmental cause: protecting our remarkable dune fields.
We encourage businesses, clubs, groups of friends and families to enter relay teams for this one-of-a-kind event. Each team consists of five participants, with every member taking on one of the five pentathlon challenges. The action begins with the cycling leg, followed by the remaining disciplines, so strategy matters! Choosing the right teammate for each leg could make all the difference.
This is truly a team event, where both fitness and clever thinking will determine who walks away with the title and bragging rights as the champions of this special event.
And of course, no great team is complete without a great team name, so get creative!
All participants will receive a medal, and the first five teams to enter will also receive a complimentary ‘Save Our Dunes’ t-shirt (available in S, M, L, XL, XXL and XXXL).
Come along, challenge yourselves, enjoy a fantastic day out, and help us protect one of our region’s most precious natural assets.

Music will be playing from the outset throughout the event with encouraging words from the Master of Ceremonies and a kiddies corner will of course be on site to entertain the little ones with a bouncy castle and face painting.
