WP Schools Day 2026

Western Province Rugby Football Union proudly presents the annual WP Schools Day 2026, an exciting afternoon of schoolboy rugby hosted at Markötter Stadium at Paul Roos Gymnasium on 17 March 2026.

This special event brings together some of the Western Cape’s top rugby schools for a series of competitive fixtures in one of South Africa’s most iconic school rugby venues. Supporters can look forward to high-energy matches, passionate school spirit, and the opportunity to watch some of the province’s most promising young rugby talent in action.

WP Schools Day celebrates the strength of school rugby in the Western Province, creating a platform for players to showcase their skills while families, friends, and rugby supporters enjoy a great afternoon of sport.

Learners in school uniform gain free entry.
