Justin Lee Schultz is a South African–born multi-instrumentalist, singer, songwriter, and producer who has been based in the United States for the past 10 years. Recognized as one of the most exciting young musicians of his generation, Justin has built an international reputation for his exceptional

musicality and versatility. Justin began playing piano at the age of five and quickly developed into a gifted multi-instrumentalist, performing on piano, keyboard, guitar, saxophone, trumpet, and bass. In addition to his instrumental abilities, he is also a vocalist, songwriter, and producer, creating and producing his own

music while bringing an energetic performance style that even includes a little dancing on stage.


Throughout his career, Justin has shared the stage and collaborated with legendary artists including Stevie Wonder, Quincy Jones, Jon Batiste, Robert Glasper, PJ Morton, and Sheila E. His performances have taken him to some of the world’s most prestigious stages and festivals, including the Montreux Jazz Festival (Miami) and the Java Jazz Festival in Jakarta. Justin has released two jazz albums and is currently expanding his artistry with a new R&B; solo project. In September he released his first R&B; single titled “Toxic Love for You”, and he will release his upcoming single “Tattoo in My Mind” on March 25. In 2026, Justin will also appear at the Cape Town International Jazz Festival, performing alongside Sheila E.


Music runs deep in Justin’s family. His father was also an artist in South Africa, winning a Kaya FMguitar competition in 2002 and later receiving a Metro FM Music Award nomination in 2012. With his extraordinary talent, global experience, and passion for music, Justin Lee Schultz continues

to emerge as a powerful voice in both jazz and contemporary R&B.;
