ABOUT
In the African Pridelands, the animals gather to celebrate the birth of Simba, the future king and son of Mufasa and Sarabi. As Simba grows, he learns about the “circle of life,” but his jealous uncle Scar plots to take the throne. Manipulating Simba into danger, Scar causes a wildebeest stampede that leads to Mufasa’s death and convinces the young cub to run away.
Far from home, Simba grows up with his carefree friends Timon and Pumbaa, leaving his past behind. Meanwhile, Scar’s rule devastates the Pridelands. When Simba reunites with his childhood friend Nala and receives guidance from Rafiki, he finds the courage to return home. Confronting Scar and the truth about his father’s death, Simba reclaims his rightful place as king, restoring balance to the kingdom and continuing the circle of life.
