Die LLB Klas van 1986 kom op 12 September 2026 bymekaar vir ons 40-jaar reünie — 'n besondere geleentheid om weer kontak te maak met klasmaats, bekende ruimtes te besoek en terug te dink aan die herinneringe en vriendskappe wat tydens ons jare aan die Universiteit Stellenbosch (US) gevorm is.
Sluit aan by mede-klasmaats by die Ou Hoofgebou, waar baie spesiale herinneringe geskep is, vir 'n dag van viering, herverbinding en refleksie.
Die dag begin met 'n ontmoet-en-groet met verversings, koffie en tee, en 'n amptelike verwelkoming deur die waarnemende dekaan, prof Juanita Pienaar. Daarna volg 'n fakulteitstoer, klasfoto en 'n reünie-middagete by Glenelly-wynlandgoed.
Die reünie vorm deel van die US se jaarlikse Tuiskomsnaweek vir alle alumni — 'n breër viering van die merkwaardige Matie-gemeenskap en die lewenslange verbintenisse wat lank ná graduering voortduur.
Program:
10:00 – Ontmoet-en-groet by die Ou Hoofgebou
11:00 – Fakulteitstoer en klasfoto
12:30 – Middagete by The Vine Bistro, Glenelly-wynlandgoed, Leliestraat, Stellenbosch
Koste: R550 per persoon

The LLB Class of 1986 will gather on 12 September 2026 for our 40-year reunion — a special opportunity to reconnect with classmates, revisit familiar spaces, and reflect on the memories and friendships formed during our years at Stellenbosch University (SU).
Join fellow classmates at the Ou Hoofgebou, where many special memories were made, for a day of celebration, reconnection, and reflection.
The day will begin with a meet-and-greet with canapés, coffee, and tea, followed by an official welcome by the Acting Dean, Prof Juanita Pienaar. Thereafter, guests will enjoy a faculty tour, class photograph, and reunion lunch at Glenelly Wine Estate.
The reunion forms part of SU's annual Homecoming Weekend for alumni — a broader celebration of the remarkable Matie community and the lifelong connections that continue long after graduation.
Programme:

12:30 – Lunch at The Vine Bistro, Glenelly Estate, Lelie Street, Stellenbosch
Cost: R550 per person
Includes a two-course meal and a complimentary glass of wine or beverage. A cash bar will be available for extra beverages.
