ABOUT
Lucas band comprises of himself on 6 string bass, Lumanyano Mzi Drums, Sean Sanby electric and upright bass, Blake Hellaby Piano and Buddy Wells Tenor Sax. Lucas has been performing professionally since 1988. He has toured New York, Detroit, L.A., London, Finland, Jamaica, Paris France, Germany as part of the Hugh Masekela band. He has worked with prominent artists such as Nduduzo Makhathini, Marcus Wyatt, Siya Makhuzeni (all three appear on his album) Themba Mkhize, Alou April, Judith Sephuma, Keiko Matsui ( Japan ), Victor Ntoni, Mthunzi Namba. He has also written songs for Sibongile Khumalo, Gloria Bosman, Tlale Makhene, Swazi Dlamini, Andike Yenana, Herbie Tsoaeli, Rène McLean, Patty Austin( USA ), Morabo Morojele, Alan Kaela, Jens Winther and many more.DIRECTIONS
