Gliding Through The Gallery Joburg

Join cultural connector and curator Mpumi Mayisa for an immersive day of art, conversation, and connection. Glide Through the Galleries is a guided art walk through a curated selection of Johannesburg’s art spaces, followed by a soiree to connect the art curious community.

We’ll begin the morning with an immersive gallery visits to featuring South Africa’s most renowned artists — offering you insights into their process, inspirations, and practice. We’ll glide through a thoughtfully selected gallery route, deepening our engagement with contemporary visual culture.

This is a full day experience. As requested by previous gliders, the glide will include an intimate breaking bread session & a warm gathering where we break bread, sip wine, enjoy a sonic experience, and share in beauty with our growing community of the art-curious.
