On 12 September, the Chardonnay Association of South Africa invites you to a day dedicated entirely to South African Chardonnay.

Set against the limestone hills of De Wetshof Wine Estate, the festival brings together more than 30 of the country's leading Chardonnay producers for a day of tasting, talking and discovering just how far this variety has come.

Explore the full range of what South African Chardonnay can be — from cool-climate, mineral-driven wines to layered, barrel-fermented styles that hold their own against the best in the world. Meet the winemakers behind the bottles, taste your way through the valley, and see why Chardonnay has become one of the country's most exciting wine stories.

• Entry to the festival and a branded Riedel tasting glass
• Unlimited tasting from 30+ South African Chardonnay producers
• Live music from Watershed, all day

• Two masterclasses, ticketed separately: a Riedel glassware session with Tarryn Vincent (12pm), and Regions of Chardonnay with Jono le Feuvre (11am)
