Every two years, alumni of the Department of Journalism return to Crozier Street to reconnect with the people, places and experiences that shaped their professional journeys.

Join fellow graduates, former lecturers, editors and industry colleagues for an evening of meaningful conversation, shared memories and renewed connections. From traditional newsrooms and broadcasting studios to communications, digital media and emerging platforms, the reunion celebrates the many paths forged through a common foundation. The event will also create a space for dialogue about the future of media and storytelling.

As the media landscape continues to evolve, this gathering offers an opportunity to reflect on the profession's enduring values, celebrate the achievements of our alumni community, and strengthen the relationships that continue to shape the future of journalism.

Elke twee jaar keer alumni van die Departement Joernalistiek terug na Crozierstraat om weer kontak te maak met die mense, plekke en ervarings wat hul professionele loopbane gevorm het.

Kom kuier saam met mede-Maties, voormalige dosente, redakteurs en kollegas uit die bedryf vir 'n aand van betekenisvolle gesprekke, gedeelde herinneringe en hernude verbintenisse. Van tradisionele nuuskantore en uitsaai-ateljees tot kommunikasie, digitale media en opkomende platforms – die reünie vier die uiteenlopende loopbaanpaaie wat uit 'n gemeenskaplike grondslag gegroei het. Ons gaan ook gesels oor die toekoms van die media en storievertelling.

Terwyl die medialandskap voortdurend ontwikkel, bied hierdie samekoms ons die geleentheid om te besin oor die blywende waardes van die beroep, die prestasies van ons alumni-gemeenskap te vier en die verhoudings te versterk wat steeds die toekoms van joernalistiek rig.
