KINDLY NOTE THAT THIS EVENT IS FULLY BOOKED:

A limited number of walk-in tickets may become available if ticket holders do not arrive for their allocated timeslots. Walk-in guests are welcome to enquire at the event; however, entry is not guaranteed and waiting times may apply.

To avoid disappointment, we recommend only visiting the festival if you already have a confirmed ticket.

Save the dates: 18 and 19 July 2026. Boschendal's much-loved annual Citrus Festival returns for two days of citrus picking, live music, good food, and genuine farm fun in the heart of the Winelands. A firm favourite on the Boschendal calendar, this is the kind of winter weekend that brings people together: families, friends, and everyone in between.

After listening carefully to guest feedback from last year, we've made some meaningful improvements to this year's event. Most notably, we've added a large covered seating area and bar at the heart of the festival, a lively, weather-proof social space where you can relax, grab a drink, and enjoy multiple live bands performing throughout the weekend. Rain or shine, the good times keep going.

Each ticket costs R150 and includes:

• Your citrus picking experience

• A picking bag

• 3kg of hand-picked citrus fruit

Children under 12 enter free when accompanying a paying adult and will share the citrus bag included with the purchased ticket.

Unfortunately, no pets will be allowed.

Things to look forward to:

• A covered social area with comfortable seating on both days

• Tractor rides through the farm

• Fresh farm fare from local stalls and vendors

Guests can choose from the following citrus picking slots on both festival days:

• 09h00 – 10h00

• 10h00 – 11h00

• 11h00 – 12h00

• 12h00 – 13h00

• 13h00 – 14h00

• 14h00 – 15h00

Please note that your selected picking slot date and time are important, as orchard access is carefully managed to ensure a comfortable and safe experience for all guests. Due to capacity limits within the orchard, we have limited flexibility to accommodate late arrivals. We kindly ask guests to arrive at least 15 minutes before their allocated slot to allow enough time for check-in and access to the orchard. Late arrivals may unfortunately need to wait for the next available opening, subject to availability. You will need a ticket to enter the festival area.
