The Muizenberg Beachfront Upgrade Project aims to celebrate you for your patience during construction, and your commitment to building climate resilience together. Come and enjoy a fun-filled morning that supports a healthy ocean environment. Expect to feel uplifted, free and informed.

What can you expect...

07:30 - 08:20

Ocean Warrior Challenge - A competitive beach clean-up followed by a prize from Sealand for whoever collects the most litter! All litter collected will go to a plastic recycling company, CRDC.

08:20: - 09:30

Elevate - Music and dance with guided facilitation and headset technology to take you on an ocean-inspired journey of play, reflection, and connection.

09:30 - 10:30

Pledge Booth - An opportunity to share your commitment to looking after our coastline. The pledges will feature as part of a wonderful community art piece for all to see and enjoy into the future.

Please bring water and comfy clothes that you can move freely in. The theme is ocean, so dress to impress! You may also bring gloves if you wish for the beach clean.

We hope you join us for the whole morning, but you are free to join for one or all of the activities. All participants will need to scan their ticket before the Elevate event to access a headset. Tickets are limited, so book soon to secure your place.

Find us outside the four beach huts opposite Hang Ten Café.
