On Sunday 10 May, South African blues-rock heavyweight Dan Patlansky brings his Live Album Recording Tour to Daisy Jones Bar.

“This tour is about bottling the energy of what happens in the room,” says PATLANSKY. “Every night is different. There’s something special about the way songs evolve live, and I want to capture that honesty and immediacy.”

Fans attending these shows will not only experience the current chapter of PATLANSKY’s celebrated catalogue but will also become part of the live album itself - their energy and presence immortalised in what promises to be a defining release.

Tucked into the vineyards of Summerhill Wines along the R44, Daisy Jones has built a reputation as one of the Winelands’ premier live venues: big sound, packed floor, no pretence. It’s the perfect setting for a show that’s about capturing what actually happens when the amps are on and the crowd is in.

Every show on this tour is being recorded for a new live album due in September 2026. Expect Patlansky’s full-tilt live set, extended solos, and a handful of brand-new, unreleased tracks getting their first real stretch in front of an audience.
