ABOUT
An improvisational sound Journey inspired by the sounds of Mali, Tunisia and South Africa. This extra-ordinary group will explore the music by Ali Farka Toure (Mali) Anouar Brahem (Tunisia) and more. They will also play original compositions by Rynier Prins.
?Rynier Prins (guitar) Murray Theron (sax) and Wynand Davel (violin) fiddle with melodies, harmonies and rhythms of the chosen repertoire to create layers of sound and with each layer draw the listener and performers deeper into a multi-textural sonic landscape, taking the room on a journey lit with spontaneity, exploration and conversation.

Moroccan chicken Tajine, couscous or Basmati Rice, Tunisian sweated cabbage and chickpea salad, Peanut butter and ginger sweet potatoes, a favourite warm salad from Mali.Dessert: Semolina and Citrus cake

Seats without lunch or a platter are at the back of the theatre
Platter served during the concert: R 60 - a vegetable and cheese filo parcel, a chicken strip, a mini pizza, Biryani chicken sausage, chilli bites and mielie fritters.
