ABOUT
WHY DOES THE IGNITE SERIES EXIST?Small businesses are the lifeblood of the South African economy yet many can't get off the ground because they lack the skills and resources to get going, especially in this tough economic climate. With this in mind, we want to help foster entrepreneurship and incubation in a tangible way by creating a small business university and coworking space to operate from. We believe it's no longer good enough to just teach people how to fish; we want to go one step further and give them a fishing rod.

In this his debut business book - The Best Dick - Mike invites you to share in the hustle. From the enthusiastic, entrepreneurial beginnings of a bootstrapped startup founder - a relatively inexperienced 26 year old - to a seasoned, professional, storyteller, who has built a boutique social media advertising agency that has made more brands go viral, globally, than any other studio in Africa.
Mike entwines business insights and universal premises of first hires, cash flow challenges, brand building, networking and pitches, with his humorous storyselling approach to deliver a page-turner complete with armed robberies, fancy-dress competitions and partnering with some of the planet's most coveted brands.
HOW DOES IGNITE WORK?
Ignite is a brand new monthly learning event created to help raise funds to incubate small businesses in South Africa. When you buy a ticket to Ignite, you are not only gaining access to an evening of learning and thought leadership BUT you are also helping fund our incubation hub where small business owners can go to learn and operate from.
All elements of the event are sponsored which means all proceeds of the event goes toward funding incubation. The event is brought to you by Suits & Sneakers and the Impello coworking space. We have one guest speaker per event sharing thought leadership around their selected topic.
