Storytelling: Revenue, Not Fantasy!

12 March 2026 | 12:00–13:30 | Innovation City Cape Town

Storytelling isn’t fantasy. It’s revenue.

Many businesses struggle to explain what they do in a way that is clear, concise, and easy to understand. When messaging is overly complex or filled with industry language, customers disengage, not because the product lacks value, but because the value is not communicated effectively.

This masterclass is designed to help you clarify how you describe your business, your offering, and your value in language that makes immediate sense to your audience.

Led by Kieno Kammies and Dr Rael Futerman, the session will focus on practical methods for refining your core message, simplifying your positioning, and communicating with greater precision across pitches, marketing, and sales conversations.

The goal is not to make your story more dramatic. It is to make it more understandable, credible, and commercially effective. Clear communication reduces friction in decision-making and strengthens how customers, partners, and stakeholders perceive your business.

Who It’s For:

  • Founders and entrepreneurs who struggle to explain what they do simply
  • Marketers and brand teams refining messaging and positioning
  • Sales professionals who need clearer, more compelling pitches
  • Consultants and service providers selling complex offerings
  • Startup teams preparing for pitches, partnerships, or investor conversations
  • Anyone tired of using jargon and still not being understood

What You’ll Take Away:

  • A clear, simple way to explain what your business actually does
  • How to turn complex ideas into language customers understand instantly
  • Practical frameworks for storytelling that drives interest and revenue
  • The difference between sounding smart and being understood (and why it matters)
  • How to remove jargon, buzzwords, and “pitch deck language” from your messaging
  • Techniques to make your message more memorable, relatable, and persuasive
  • Real-time refinement of your own story and positioning

Limited seats available.
