ABOUT
the light behind the trees
art exhibition by Shelley Kibel.
This exhibition explores the theme of transience. The artwork exhibited was created by Shelley Kibel while working as a palliative care doctor. The work expresses her personal search for meaning in a rapidly changing world and is a celebration of creativity. Dealing with death on a daily basis allowed an opportunity to process the beauty, brevity and fragility of life.
Accompanying talks and workshops explore the connection and significance of the creative process in health and healing. This exhibition experience is an invitation to look at life with renewed wonder.
