The show kicks off a quick-fire Stand-Up Comedy showcase by 4 comedians who each do a 5 minute set of Stand-Up Comedy.
The Imrpovised Comedy Experience follows shortly after.....
Improvised Comedy is form of live theatre in which the plot, characters and dialogue of a game, scene or story are made up in the moment.
Often improvisers will take a suggestion from the audience, or draw on some other source of inspiration to get started.
This show takes the phrase "audience participation" literally. Members of the studio audience suggest ideas for the games and skits that four Comedians perform.
Hosted by Chris Forrest, who founded “Starship Improvise”, the other 3 Players are selected from a crop of experienced Stand-Up Comedians.
Hannes Brummer, Robby Collins, Mojak Lehoko, Vittorio Leonardi, Alyn Adams are a few of the names that feature regularly on the Starship Improvise line-up.
