Back for its 3rd year in 2026, Potch Unplugged is a local music competition hosted in Potchefstroom by deMILKo and Music Etc..

We’re on a mission to bring the hidden musical talent in our community to the fore — creating a platform where artists can shine solo or as part of a collective.

With a strong acoustic focus that matches our signature street café vibe, performances are raw and real: piano, acoustic guitar, and djembe-style percussion. Just pure talent.

Contestants compete in themed knockout rounds, with a week to prepare before taking the stage.

Potch Unplugged is more than a competition — it’s a celebration of local music and an unforgettable live music experience.
