Magé Live at The KAYA Café

Magé (pronounced Maggie - like the 2 min noodles) is a South African touring musician from the Eastern Cape. She has a deep love for songwriting, climbing trees and meeting new people. Her style is acoustic, honest, and warm, with a strong focus on staying true to who she is - her ever evolving self. In her solo performances she uses her guitar, her harmonica, her tambourine (with her left foot) and the beat with her right foot to bring all sorts of stories to life. She enjoys writing on social commentary as well as the deeper secrets that all hearts share. She has a special way of connecting with any audience, bringing them to the present moment with a giggle. Her music is primarily original Afrikaans material, with a selection of English covers woven into the set. Magé walks tall and kind and she believes that she is here to make some lights go on all around the world.
