Morning: Cake as Canvas | R395

Start the day sweetly as you turn cake into art. Together, you’ll decorate your own edible masterpiece, laughing, icing, tasting and creating side by side. No experience needed, just a willingness to get a little messy and have a lot of fun.

What to Expect:

• A relaxed creative session at The House of Yay
• One 120 × 120mm vanilla cake topped with butter icing
• Five pre-mixed butter icing colours to paint with
• All tools and materials provided
• A cake board and cake box to take your creation home
• Bottomless tea throughout the experience
• No experience needed — just show up and enjoy

Afternoon: Chunky Blanket Making | R850

Using only your hands (no needles required), you’ll learn how to create a luxurious, chunky knit blanket. It’s cozy, calming and completely addictive, and you’ll leave with a beautiful handmade blanket and a heart very full.

What to Expect:

• A relaxed creative session at The House of Yay
• A welcome glass of wine or a soft drink
• 4 balls of chunky wool and makes a 1 x 1,5m blanket. We will contact you before the event for your colour choice.
• 3 hours of guided instruction to help you not get in a knot!
