Cape Milers Continental Tour

A World Athletics Continental Tour Challenger meeting will be hosted by the Cape Milers Club at the newly built Stellenbosch High School Athletics Track on 10 April 2026.

The meeting provides athletes with a valuable opportunity to qualify for the 2026 World Athletics Ultimate Championships, to be held in Budapest, Hungary from 11 to 13 September this year.

There is also a strong focus on school and junior athletes, offering them the chance to achieve qualifying standards for the World Athletics U20 Championships in Eugene, Oregon, USA from 5 August to 9 August 2026. In addition to the distance events, we have included in this year's programme a range of senior field events, allowing established athletes to showcase their talent.

Athlete entries open on 15th February 2026 and close on 2 April 2026. The entry fee is R250, which includes a commemorative CMC running shirt and cap for the first 100 registrations.
