HEATSKRS Film Showcase will be celebrating youth cinema & African indie content on the 14th of March 2026 at ArtistryJHB.

This film showcase will be screening a plethora of youth short films and digital pieces that range from African Fantasy and teen-animation to romantic drama and afro-futurism. Amongst the selections include current SAFTA-nominee for Best Short Film Why The Cattle Wait, current Simon Sabela award-winning Best Short Film Entabeni, trailblazing animation productions in Rorisang & The Gurlz and Ubuntu; as well as festival darlings like Ubani Lore?, 5 Rand, Unit 304 and Blind Spots

Join us for a stacked day of compelling youth-led screenings, exclusive previews, live discussions and activations with the presenting filmmakers, games and much more within the celebration of film, art & youth creativity.
