WHAT LIES BENEATH
a short writing course
Everywhere you go, there you are. This is true even when we view a work of art. Our likes and dislikes are aspects of character and culture, or personal and collective histories. We make associations all the time, whether we are aware of this or not. A work of art that evokes a strong response is a window through which we can explore who we are, how we arrived here and how to proceed.
In this course, we will use writing as a complementary art form to explore the images and narratives that inform and shape our lives and choices.
During the course, we will be developing our capacity for creativity – the innate resource that promotes curiosity, restoration, and that re-energises us.
“I found this class amazingly helpful and a great learning tool, both for the art itself and about my own responses. I cannot recommend this class too highly.” ~ Margaret-Anne Halse
This course is facilitated by multiple award-winning author and poet, Dawn Garisch, also a medical doctor, a founder member of the Life Righting Collective (LRC) www.liferighting.com.
