A three day outdoor New Year’s Eve festival of music art and love

Little Forest Festival is multi-genre event rooted in values and ideals that extend beyond music. It embraces a holistic celebration of life, creativity and community - cultivating unity, connection, and a shared consciousness.

Once a year, we gather beneath the Milky Way for our annual celestial revelry.

So we are calling all astral travellers, mystical explorers, metaphysical adventurers and wandering cosmonauts! Rally your crew, conjure your mischief and prepare yourself for wild detours into adventure, absurdity, and beautiful improbability.

WHAT’S NEW

We appreciate the thoughtful feedback and suggestions for improvement we received. Your valuable insight help shape what comes next. We have taken this on board and are focusing on key enhancements and improvements in the following areas for this year’s edition:

GLAMPING

• We’ve partnered with a new glamping supplier for our bell tents.
• All bell tents are 5m in diameter.
• A new premium option is available, featuring en-suite bathrooms and privacy screens.
• Guests can now choose shaded canvas dome or bell tents set up under Bedouin stretch tents.
• The glamping area has been relocated to a quieter zone, further from the sound systems.
• A dedicated ablution technician will be on-site throughout the event to service glamping facilities.

ABLUTIONS

• Dedicated technicians will be on-site at all ablution blocks throughout the festival to monitor water pressure and address any technical issues.
• A full overhaul of the premium Rejuvenation Station experience.
• Expanded cleaning crew to ensure consistently high hygiene standards.

ACCESS CONTROL

• Transitioning to a new scanning system to ease congestion at the entrance.
• Experienced scanning staff on-site during peak periods to ensure smooth entry.

TECHNO TEMPLE

• Enhanced focus on the Techno floor, featuring international artists and an expanded setup.

FESTIVAL BEATS

FOREST STAGE: The Forest stage will lead the festival journey with filthy beats and chunky visual treats. It features seven banging international headliners as well as our well-established and up-and-coming home-grown acts from Cape Town and JHB.

TECHNO TEMPLE: The Temple features two international headliners alongside the best techno & electronica the mother city has to offer. Expect unique twist and turns from a stage of many emotions, from nights of driving bass lines to days filled with groove and steeze.

QUASAR STAGE: The Drum & Bass stage is where the tempo spikes and the night finds its edge. Rolling bass lines, razor-sharp breaks, and relentless energy collide in a space built for movement. From deep, liquid grooves to high-voltage jungle and face-melting neurofunk, this is a journey through the full spectrum of DnB.

CHILL BEATS BY THE DAM: Drift, unwind and recharge by the water. Find your flow at the dam where ambient soundscapes and chilled rhythms revitalise and refresh.

FESTIVAL SPACES

A diverse collection of spaces invite you to enjoy the festival to its fullest. From vibrant social hubs and curated food and drink offerings to immersive art experiences, mindful sanctuaries, and restorative wellness areas, each environment has been designed to offer its own distinct atmosphere and experience.

INFORMATION STATION

Pop into the Information Station if you need help with anything or information on any aspect of the festival.

PREMA SHANTI

Activation of body, soul, and mind at the Prema Shanti Healing Sanctuary. This dedicated space offers a safe, nurturing environment for exploration of healing and self-care practices. A place of mindfulness and restoration, it invites festival-goers to pause, decompress, and rejuvenate before re-joining the festivities. Offerings include massage, Shiatsu, Reiki therapies and much more.

ART ALCHEMY GALLERY

The Little Forest Art Alchemy returns for its third year, growing from strength to strength. Showcasing a dynamic blend of live art and curated static works, it has become an unmissable destination for all festival-goers.

REJUVENATION STATION

The Rejuvenation Station is a premium ablution facility offering hot showers and flush toilets, designed for general camping ticket holders seeking an elevated level of comfort. This area has been significantly upgraded since the previous edition to enhance the overall experience. Tickets are available online or on site at the Information Station, subject to availability.

GLAMPING

Both Soultree and Firefly glamping villages are located within a private, secure area designed for comfort and ease. Each village includes 24/7 on-site management, dedicated ablution facilities, and shared chill spaces for guests to relax and connect.

FIREFLY VILLAGE

Firefly Village offers a range of luxury bell tent accommodation options. Each 5-meter diameter bell tent comfortably sleeps two guests and is equipped with the following amenities:

• Two super-comfortable full-size single beds with premium hotel-quality linen and towels
• Two floor mats per bed and an entrance rug
• Two bedside tables and chairs
• Two lights and a storage chest
• Cloth hanger attached to the centre pole

We are excited to announce the addition of the private bathroom option. Each bathroom is positioned alongside the glamping tent, enclosed with a privacy screen for exclusive use, and includes: hot shower, chemical toilet, mirror, clothing hooks and a wooden platform.

SOUL TREE VILLAGE

Soul Tree Village offers a two luxury canvas dome tent accommodation options. Each 3 x 3 m tent comfortably sleeps two guests and is equipped with the following amenities:

• Two directors chairs on the outside
• Two stretchers with 2 mattresses
• Bedside table
• LED battery powered light
• Full set of bedding with a flat sheet, fitted sheet, comforter, pillow with pillow case and an extra fleece blanket

PARKING

The following parking options are available:

1. Glamping guests: Dedicated parking is provided within the glamping parking area. Porters will assist with transporting your luggage to the check-in area.
2. General Camping: Camp and Park separately: Ideal for those wanting to camp in the shaded areas along the river. Vehicles are parked separately from the camping zones.
3. General Camping: Camp and Park together: Purchase a Camp + Park car pass to park your vehicle alongside your tent in a designated area near the dam. Please note this area offers little to no shade.

VENUE: KROMRIVIER FARM

Set at the foot of the Riviersonderend Mountain Range, between Greyton and Riviersonderend, the forest we call home offers a truly special setting. Just two hours from Cape Town, this secluded little piece of heaven welcomes you with a tranquil dam and a flowing stream, framed by towering mountains and pockets of lush forest.

DIRECTIONS FROM CAPE TOWN

- Take the N2 towards Caledon.

- Turn left into the Nethercourt turn off about 20 km after Caledon. Co-ordinates at this turn off are: -34.20041, 19.61872

- Turn right at the T-junction

- Follow the signs to the festival
