Draw and Connect Creative Afternoon

Come and explore your creativity with an afternoon of drawing and connecting at The Commons, Muizenberg. Drawing or sketching are wonderful ways to inspire your imagination and de-stress. By creating and sharing your artworks and ideas in a small group, you'll also have a chance to connect with others and share constructive feedback.

I will introduce a nature-inspired approach to drawing and explore ideas and practical methods to help get you started. We will use charcoal, pencil, and pastels to create several personal artworks, with time to share these experiences in a no-pressure, friendly space. Come with a curious and inquisitive mind! This approach to observing nature and drawing is based on exploring and creating rather than striving or perfecting. It is a great way to engage deeply with your imagination.

All art materials will be provided - no need to bring anything!

Tea and coffee are included. Bring your own snacks, or get something at the restaurant at The Commons. There are various coffee shops and restaurants nearby.

The Commons is up a flight of stairs, with no easy wheelchair access or lift. Please consider this when booking.

This workshop is limited to adults. Come and meet new people in a relaxed and creative space, or bring a friend and make it a social art event.

About your facilitator, Marc: Art and music have always been close to my heart, and being creative is a large part of my life and meaning. I’m inspired by bringing people, creativity, imagination, and nature together and seeing what grows.
