ABOUT
The Masque and Milnerton Players are excited to present A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder
This razor-sharp, brilliantly funny, Tony Award-winning musical comedy is about ambition, inheritance, and just how far one man is willing to go to get what he believes he deserves.
Director: Kyla Thorburn
Musical Director: Barend Van Der Westhuizen
When the charming but penniless Monty Navarro discovers he is eighth in line to inherit the earldom of the wealthy D’Ysquith family, he sets out to improve his prospects - by eliminating the competition. One by one. With style.
Featuring a gloriously witty book, and a deliciously clever score, A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder is a fast-paced romp full of elegant mayhem, dark humour, and delightful surprises. A murderously good time awaits.
“The music … and the lyrics are as gut-bustingly clever as anything in The Book of Mormon… quite simply, it’s a bloody good time.” - Entertainment Weekly
“…morbidly hilarious” - USA Today
“Intelligent and merry, all the elements work splendidly from start to finish.” - BroadwayWorld
