Gustavo Romero – Piano Recital

The Helderberg Village Music Society is delighted to welcome pianist Gustavo Romero back for a solo piano recital.

A familiar presence on the Cape Town concert scene for several years, Romero is admired locally for his expressive playing and thoughtful programming, and internationally for performances in major concert halls around the world. His concerts are known for their musical depth, clarity and engaging artistry.

This recital offers audiences the opportunity to experience a world-class pianist in an intimate and welcoming setting.

Programme highlights:

The programme features music by Bach/Gounod, Scarlatti, Schubert and Schumann, moving through Romantic favourites by Mendelssohn, Liszt and Chopin, and concluding with much-loved works by Debussy and Rachmaninoff.
