The Morning After present “Rock Around the Clock” - A Tribute to the 50’s, 60’s & 70’s

Following the resounding success of their “Rock Around The Clock” show at café Roux on 17 December last year, this premier function and party band will, by popular demand, be back at this venue to once again perform their popular tribute to the 50s, 60s & 70s – “Rock Around The Clock”.

"Rock Around The Clock" promises an unforgettable journey through the golden era of rock 'n' roll, showcasing iconic hits from the 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s. Audiences can expect to be transported back in time with legendary tracks from artists such as Bill Haley and the Comets, Elvis Presley, The Beatles, Status Quo, Pink Floyd, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Chuck Berry, Fleetwood Mac, Neil Diamond, Buddy Holly, and many more.

The show's title, "Rock Around The Clock," pays homage to Bill Haley and The Comets' ground-breaking hit, the first rock 'n' roll recording to top the Billboard Pop charts. This timeless classic has since been reimagined by renowned artists like Ringo Starr, The Isley Brothers, Pat Boone, The Platters, and Johnny Cooper.

Renowned for their dynamic performances and authentic renditions of classic rock anthems, The Morning After will take to the stage in their signature smart black suits, delivering a nostalgic experience with hits like Chuck Berry's "Johnny B. Goode," The Beatles' "I Wanna Hold Your Hand," Fleetwood Mac's "Dreams," Pink Floyd's "Another Brick in The Wall," Neil Diamond's "Sweet Caroline," and Creedence Clearwater Revival's "Bad Moon Rising," among a host of other beloved tracks.
