Buon appetito, Knysna – Italy is coming to town!

Get ready for a true taste of la dolce vita as Knysna’s Italian Street Festival transforms Boatshed Square on Thesen Island into a vibrant Italian playground.

This two-day foodie celebration brings the sights, sounds and irresistible flavours of Italy straight to the heart of Knysna. Wander through a carefully curated selection of food and drink stalls and indulge in Italian classics – freshly made pasta, wood-fired pizza, panini, creamy gelato, affogato and authentic Italian coffee. Beyond the food, admire an eye-catching display of classic and modern Italian cars and motorcycles lining the street, from vintage favourites to sleek modern icons.

With live music setting the mood and a lively, family-friendly atmosphere, this is more than a festival, it’s an Italian street party. Gather your friends, bring the family and experience a day of flavour, culture and fun, Italian-style.
