ABOUT
What is the one problem South Africa must solve?
News24’s flagship On the Record summit is back in March 2026 with a focus on unemployment, job creation and economic growth.
Join News24’s top editors, journalists and international and local experts in person in Cape Town as they discuss solutions to the one challenge we must solve: how to create 5 million jobs in ten years.
This conference will suggest practical ways to create jobs and build a better, more equal and healthy society as our contribution to the national dialogue.
Here are some of the hot topics on the agenda:
- How will fighting crime and corruption create jobs?
- Should BEE be changed or scrapped to grow the economy?
- How do we solve our youth unemployment crisis?
