Gliding through the Gallery - Pretoria Edition

Join cultural innovator and curator Mpumi Mayisa for an immersive day of art, conversation, and connection as we launch the Pretoria edition of Gliding Through the Gallery on 14 February 2026.

Timed with Valentine’s Day, this special glide draws gentle connections between love and art, how we make connections with images, ideas, materials, and stories.

We’ll begin the day with guided visits to a curated selection of Pretoria’s art spaces, featuring South African artists whose practices speak to care, memory, and evolution. As we glide through the city, Mpumi will offer insight into the artists’ processes, inspirations, and the emotional and conceptual lives of the works.

This is a full-day experience, the glide will be followed by an intimate luncheon — a warm gathering where we break bread, sip wine, and share in beauty with a growing community of art-curious humans.
