From Elvis Presley to Bruce Springsteen, Johnny Cash, Kenny Rogers, John Lee Hooker, Chuck Berry, JJ Cale, The Eagles, Chris Stapleton, The Band and many more … their music comes alive in this rollicking story of American sound retold for one night only, in the Swartland town of Riebeek Kasteel.

NashVegas, the event is back by popular demand for its fourth run. NashVegas 4 pays homage to The King, Elvis Presley, and his unforgettable contribution to American Music. Come and get all shook up with us...

In unraveling its own inspiration, The Black Bear Band takes the audience from the swamps of the Mississippi Delta to the juke joints of Memphis, the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, to the folk explosion of Upstate New York.

The whole shebang is an open-air show (weather permitting) and takes place at The Barn on Friday, March 13. Just 80 tickets are available for sale. Picture long tables, strings of festive lighting, and the magical backdrop of one of South Africa’s most scenic villages.

The show was inspired by singer-songwriter Craig Banks’ visits to Nashville, and a Supergroup of Cape Town musicians will keep you enthralled. In addition to Banks, the band comprises Wayne Pauli, David Goldberg, Malcolm Aberdeen, and Damian Staz, who have amassed 40 years of playing and interpreting the music they love.

The evening gets underway from 18:30. Specials on food and drink will be advertised on The Barn’s social media channels (see below).

Seating will be provided at long tables, with the valley vistas as backdrop to what promises to be a spectacular evening.
