HER Economy 2026

Event Description

HER Economy is an annual Women, Gender and Financial Inclusion summit established in 2023. Now hosted by the Africa Women Financial Inclusion Initiative (AWFII), in partnership with the Graça Machel Trust’s New Faces New Voices (South African Chapter), the convening provides a high-level platform to address the persistent gender financial gap.

HER Economy 2026 will convene senior policymakers, regulators, development finance institutions, investors, financial institutions, corporates, and women leaders to advance women-centred financial infrastructure, mobilise partnerships and capital commitments, and position Africa as a leader in women’s financial inclusion systems.

The programme includes strategic plenaries, closed-door roundtables, evidence and innovation showcases.

Who should attend HER Economy 2026?

HER Economy 2026 is designed for senior decision-makers and practitioners, including:

Is this event open to the public?

Attendance is curated but open. Tickets are available publicly; however, participation in closed-door sessions is by invitation.

Are tickets refundable?

Tickets are non-refundable. However, substitutions are allowed up to 7 days before the event.

Can I transfer my ticket to someone else?

Yes. Ticket transfers are permitted by notifying the organisers in writing at least 7 days prior to the event.

What does my ticket include?

All Full Access tickets include:

Are accommodation and travel included?

No. Delegates are responsible for their own travel and accommodation.

How do closed-door roundtables work?

Closed-door roundtables are invitation-only and curated to ensure strategic dialogue. Access is based on relevance and capacity.

Will there be discounted tickets?

To maintain the integrity and quality of the convening, discounted tickets are limited to Early Bird availability only.

How do partners access complimentary tickets?

Complimentary or partner tickets are managed directly by the organisers in line with partnership agreements.
