Welcome to the first installment of KONJO
KONJO is an independent Pan-African music and culture movement that curates events of eclectic music from South Africa, the greater African continent and the African diaspora in the global south.
Join us for KONJO vol. I featuring two of South Africa's more progressive bands of recent times.
It is a privileged to have the BLK JKS (https://web.facebook.com/BLK-JKS-50708824098) play their first show in Cape Town in 5 years. We are equally proud to host The Brother Moves (https://web.facebook.com/thebrothermovesonband) who will be joined by acclaimed saxophonist, band leader and composer; Shabaka Hutchings http://www.shabakahutchings.com/.
