ABOUT
Jonathan will be presenting a Scorpion Sting First Response Course at Baluleni Safari Lodge in the Grietjie Private Nature Reserve on the 7th February from 10am to 1pm.
The content of the course is based upon Jonathan's latest book, Essential Scorpion Sting First Response which offers an innovative science based first response framework that reduces the chance of being stung by a scorpion, and if there is a sting, how to ensure the best possible outcome for stings in humans and animals. It offers the knowledge and understanding to step up to the leadership challenge of scorpion sting first response in an organisation and community.
Course duration is 3 hours and consists of a presentation, workshop and assessment. All participants will receive a certificate and supporting resources. The following topics are included in the course.
The course is presented in English and all writing instruments will be provided. Although aimed at adults, children younger than 13, may attend as long as they are accompanied by an adult. The course cost includes entrance to the Reptile Centre. Participants who book before the 30th January will receive printed certificates. Participants who book after the 30th will receive a PDF certificate via email. Please note that places are limited. Please remember to book early to secure your place on this course.
Jonathan Leeming
