SLOW STITCHING EMBROIDERY WORKSHOP

10am - 1:30pm

Join a beginner’s embroidery workshop for the perfect introduction to the joys of creative embroidery. You don’t need to have any prior experience at all, or you may have stitched a long time ago and want to dive back in! Set in the beautiful Veld and Sea Glasshouse, we will walk you through everything at your own pace - relaxing, peaceful and lots of fun.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

Learn some beautiful foundation stitches, practising on a specially prepared piece of sampler linen. Depending on your pace, you can also have a go at stitching onto an additional nature-themed design which you can also take home to practice on after the class.

WHAT’S INCLUDED:

• A hand-prepared stitch kit including linen, threads, needles, scissors and embroidery hoop.
• A stitch guide to accompany the nature-themed stitch design
• Fynbos chai & sweet treat

DURATION: 3.5 hours

WHAT TO BRING:

You are welcome to bring your own snacks and drinks to enjoy while you stitch
