EASTERN CAPE HAS TALENT 2026 FINAL SHOWCASE

Eastern Cape Has Talent (ECHT) is a platform created to celebrate and showcase talent of all ages, welcoming performers from anywhere to take part. The competition highlights creativity, courage and the power of performance, bringing together artists from diverse backgrounds onto one stage.

The ECHT journey begins with preliminary rounds, followed by semi-finals, where performers refine their acts and earn their place on the final stage. From these rounds, twelve finalists are selected to compete in the live final showcase.

The ECHT 2026 Final Showcase is both a celebration of performance and a fundraiser in support of the historic Alexander Playhouse, contributing to the preservation of this important cultural venue.

On the evening, the twelve finalists will perform live for the R10 000 cash prize, with the outcome influenced by audience voting. Full voting details will be shared during the event.

The programme also includes a special guest performance by Khosi Tauzeni, the 2025 Eastern Cape Has Talent winner, as well as appearances by the ECHT Dance Troupe, adding further energy and variety to the night.
