uMhlangano

uMhlangano is a queer-led gathering responding to a shared longing for connection, belonging and meaning beyond commercialised or exclusionary spaces.

Inspired by the Pride 2025 picnic and the legacies of queer elders and activists who understood community as a spiritual practice, uMhlangano seeks to co-create spaces that honour spiritual expression outside of formal religion through shared reflection, music, conversation and open offerings. while remaining rooted in care, psychological safety and mutual respect.

The gathering nurtures connection across difference and invites participants to contribute their presence, insight and generosity in service of individual and collective well-being.
