Get your play pants on and join us for an explorative and provocative workshop with the king of clowns himself, Chris Lynam!

Chris is very excited to offer a first-hand experience of his 3hr clowning workshop in Cape Town this weekend! Come and challenge your imagination, creativity and sense of play while exploring the most comic, grotesque, charming, tragic and disparate aspects of life and Contemporary Art Clown!

What the workshop may include:

• Improvisation, movement, dance, mime, clown, character development, situation and group dynamics.
• Voice, comic rhythm and sketch creation.

Things to note:

• The workshops are open to all levels of actors/performers.
• Loose clothing is highly recommended, and no outdoor shoes are to be worn.

A bit more about Chris Lynam:

With an exquisite grasp of the grotesque, Chris Lynam has been feverishly subverting the traditions of the stand-up for more than thirty years. His reputation for unpredictable comic mayhem has propelled him to the four corners of the globe, and viewers and audience attendees here and throughout the world have been aghast and agog at his televised antics and stage performances.

His style emanates from street performing where he has spent so much time touring the world on a shoestring and perfecting his art. The result is a general air of barely controlled madness that characterises his shows.
