ABOUT

We invite you on a journey exploring the healing potential of plants and fungi, and the practical techniques needed to integrate them into our lives, and into our bodies, safely and effectively. Join us as we collectively nurture and develop a symbiotic and synergistic relationship with the plants and fungi, with each other, and with the natural world as a whole.

For mellenia, humans have nurtured an intimate connection to the Earth, and the environment around them. The knowledge of how nature offers physical support in the form of food and medicine, has provided the foundation for health and well being through out the ages.

We will explore the healing properties of many common herbs that are found all around us, as well as some of the planets most potent natural medicines, and how we can use this knowledge on our journey toward optimum health and well being.

This workshop will cover everything you need to know to make your own herbal remedies, including tea's, decoctions, tinctures, infusions, and salves,

This is a hands on workshop, in which participants will make and take home samples of everything that we make together.

Cost: R350 per person.

What to Bring:

-A dish of food to contribute to a shared vegetarian feast. No stress if you can't bring anything. There's normally more than enough to go around.
-Your own utensils, plate, and mug
-Pen and Notepad - if notes are your thing. Workshop material will be shared digitally.
-Optional: Something comfortable to sit on. We will have straw bales but your welcome to bring camping chairs, yoga matts, picnic blankets etc, if it would make you more comfortable.

Most of all an open mind, and an eagerness to learn and share as we unpack our collective experiences around plants, and natural medicines.
