Tickets are only purchased via the Quicket website

There are 2 ticket types available:

• R130 per person for a VIP Beanbag and R100 per person for a standard Deck Chair.

There are no tickets available on the website? Can I buy tickets at the gates?

Regrettably, for safety and planning purposes, if tickets are SOLD OUT on the Quicket site, no tickets are available at the gates.

Where do I park? I can’t see a seating plan.

All tickets to the Fourways Crossing Outdoor Cinema Experience are unreserved.

Seats will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, with no unrealistic "blocking" of more than one seat for another ticket holder allowed.

Will I see the screen?

Our state-of-the-art 10-metre-wide screen is clearly visible from every part of the venue, and we have allowed plenty of space to ensure you get a great view from wherever you are. As with all unreserved seating events, the earlier you get there the more prime a position you can secure for you, your family and friends.

Can I bring the kids?

Age restrictions on movies are STRICTLY ENFORCED by law.

PLEASE do not place us in the unenviable position of having to refuse you entry if youngsters are clearly under the published age-restriction limit.

No refunds will be allowed for persons refused entry due to tickets purchased for underage children.

Can I bring my own picnic basket/pizza/snacks/drinks?

No, the Fourways Crossing Outdoor Cinema Experience will have cinema snacks and food from Fourways Crossing tenants available for purchase.

Soft drinks, popcorn, and Snacks will be on sale.

You MAY purchase food from the food vendors in the event space, or any Fourways Crossing Tenant - you may be asked for proof of purchase upon bringing this into the event space.

Consumption of alcohol will not be permitted.

Must I bring cash?

We have done our best to avoid cash transactions for safety reasons.

Can I bring my pet to the event?

Nope. We love pets, but in a public space, it just gets awkward, so please leave your pets at home.

How will I hear the movie?

We have a sound system that is loud enough to be heard anywhere in the venue, without irritating the residential neighbours.

Can I bring my camera?

Yes, take as many photos as you like and share your selfies with us before and during the event on social media.

Just don't record any of the films, that's not allowed and will result in criminal prosecution (yes, really).

Can I smoke?

Ignoring the awkward health lecture, you will be allowed to smoke only in desingated area, not in your seats. However, you are encouraged to refrain from smoking at the event.

What happens if it rains?

Nobody likes rain on their parade! As this is an outdoor event, we are subject to the elements and will go ahead in most weather conditions, including lightning, intermittent or potential rain and wind.

Patrons accept the risk that weather they consider unsatisfactory may occur on the screening night and acknowledge that tickets are non-refundable in the event of adverse weather.

A cancellation will only be considered if the conditions pose a danger to patrons or staff, and it will be clearly communicated to all ticket holders. If the event is cancelled, you will be issued with complimentary tickets for a future event. If there is no further screening of the same event in the future, your ticket will be refunded in full.

The Fourways Crossing Outdoor Cinema Experience.

The event is subject to these Terms and Conditions (“T’s and C’s”), as may be amended from time to time.

Growthpoint Properties (Pty) Ltd, Ellerine Bros (Pty) Ltd, Tugela Trading (Pty) Ltd and Chaos Theory Events (Pty) Ltd are the organisers of this event, hereinafter referred to as "the Promotors".

The following terms and conditions apply to all persons who purchase tickets to Fourways Crossing Outdoor Cinema Experience. (“the Event”) at Fourways Crossing.

By purchasing tickets to and attending the event/s, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions as well as to the terms and conditions pertaining to events at the Property (Fourways Crossing).

The Promoters reserve the right to amend, modify and/or change the T's and C's at any time and will make the amended T's and C's available online.

For the duration of the Event, a copy of these T’s and C’s can, at no cost:

be found on the following website www.fourwayscrossing.co.za; or

be obtained from Fourways Crossing's management during weekday office hours from 8 am to 5 pm; or

be obtained from Chaos Theory's management during weekday office hours from 8 am to 5 pm; or

Participants may be photographed for promotional purposes. Images may be published on Fourways Crossing's social media pages, including Facebook, TikTok and Instagram and the Fourways Crossing website page, as well as community newspapers and shopping centre retail industry publications. No fees will be payable in this regard. Participants will be given the opportunity to decline the publication of their images.

The Promoters do not make any representations or give any warranties, whether express or implied, that the Participant’s participation in this Promotion will necessarily result in the Participant receiving a benefit in terms of the Promotion.

To the extent permissible in law, the Promoters are not responsible and cannot be held liable for any accident, injury, harm, death, loss or damages of whatsoever nature, howsoever arising, as a result of the Participant’s participation in the Promotion.

To the fullest extent permitted in law, by participating, the Participant indemnifies, releases and agrees to hold harmless the Promoters, their associated, holding and subsidiary companies, and its directors, officers, agents, representatives, shareholders, employees, successors and assigns from any and all claims or liability arising from their participation in the Promotion, any Promotion-related activity and/or acceptance, receipt, possession or use/misuse of any benefit.

Participants are obliged to comply with all applicable laws, including those laws protecting the intellectual property rights of other parties.

Participants acknowledge and accept as well as understand that there are inherent and other risks associated with attending an outdoor all-weather event. Participants knowingly and willingly undertake to attend the Event in acceptance of these risks. By doing so, participants, to the best of their knowledge, warrant that they are not afflicted by any condition which may render them unable to participate in the Event,

Participants release Growthpoint Properties (Pty) Ltd, Ellerine Bros (Pty) Ltd, Tugela Trading (Pty) Ltd and Chaos Theory Events (Pty) Ltd (including its directors, officers, employees, volunteers, contractors, sponsors and/or agents) from any claim and from any liability to the maximum extent permitted by law for, or as a result of, any loss, injury or damage suffered by you in relation to your attendance and participation in the event, however caused, including any claim or liability which arises due to any negligence of the event organisers.

Participants agree not to cause any loss or damage to property at the Event.

Participants are responsible for all property brought to the Promotion, and Growthpoint Properties (Pty) Ltd, Ellerine Bros (Pty) Ltd, Tugela Trading (Pty) Ltd and Chaos Theory Events (Pty) Ltd accept no responsibility for loss or damage to this property, in any way whatsoever.

The purchaser or user of the ticket voluntarily assumes the risk of injury, property damage or loss while attending The Fourways Crossing Outdoor Cinema Experience. Participants agree to take all reasonable measures to protect themselves from the risks inherent to participation.

Participants have a duty to exercise good judgment and act in a responsible manner while attending The Fourways Crossing Outdoor Cinema Experience and agree to comply with the directions of the staff and its operators, Chaos Theory, their staff and authorised representatives, and/or the Promotors at all times.

1.1 Right of Admission:

Animals are not permitted at the Event.

Right of admission to the Event is entirely at the discretion of the event organisers, who maintain the right to refuse entry to any patron who:

• Has lost their tickets.
• Is under the legal age of entry, as defined by the publicly published age restriction of the movie published by the Film and Publications Board of South Africa.
• Appears unruly or acts in an abusive or aggressive manner to any Fourways Crossing or Chaos Theory staff member.
• Appears intoxicated or under the influence of mind-altering drugs.
• Is in possession of tickets that are damaged or defaced in any way, and the unique barcode cannot be read/scanned by the readers on site.

1.2 Refunds:

Staff working at the Fourways Crossing Outdoor Cinema Experience are not able to provide any refunds.

In the event of cancellation under points 1.3-1.5, refunds will be processed within 7 working days via the same ticketing platform used to purchase the tickets.

1.3 Cancellations due to mechanical breakdown:

• If a movie session is cancelled or terminated due to a technical or mechanical breakdown, The Promotors will issue complimentary tickets for a future event or replacement screening.
• Should there be no screening with the same title, the customer will be able to choose to either select any other future screening or will be refunded the face value of each ticket through the same ticketing platform used to purchase the tickets.
• Complimentary and prize tickets offer no face value, and no compensation for such will be offered.

1.4 Cancellations due to act-of-god, terrorism or other safety issues:

• If a movie session is cancelled or terminated due to a decision by the host venue or other occurrence outside of The Promotors direct control, Fourways Crossing Outdoor Cinema Experience will issue complimentary tickets for a future event.
• Should there be no screening with the same title, the customer will be able to choose to either select any other future screening or will be refunded the face value of each ticket through the same ticketing platform used to purchase the tickets.
• Complimentary and prize tickets offer no face value, and no compensation for such will be offered.

1.5 Cancellations due to adverse weather:

Patrons accept the risk that weather they consider unsatisfactory may occur on a screening night and acknowledge that tickets will not be re-validated unless a screening is officially cancelled by The Promotors.

The decision to cancel a screening is made by the Venue Manager on site and can be made at any time up to or during the screening.

• Screenings will be cancelled only if the weather poses a safety threat to patrons and staff and the movie screen.
• No reason needs to be given for the cancellation of a screening.
• We will try to go ahead with screenings wherever possible, and will not cancel for lightning/intermittent/potential rain.

The Fourways Crossing Outdoor Cinema Experience is essentially an outdoor event and may be subject to adverse weather.

1.6 Terms of Sale:

All ticket sales are final and non-transferable.

• Tickets may not be resold or offered for resale at a premium (including online auction sites) or used for advertising, promotion or other commercial purposes. If a ticket is used in breach of these conditions, it may be cancelled without refund, and the bearer of the ticket may be refused admission.
• It is a condition of sale that tickets may not be offered for resale on 3rd party websites or resold in any way whatsoever.
• Refunds will not be given for cancellations or terminations due to adverse weather conditions unless the event is cancelled by the organiser.
• Refunds will not be given for patrons denied access due to the enforcement of age restrictions applied by the Film and Publications Board of South Africa.
• Refunds and exchanges will not be made for inadvertently booking the wrong event.
• If the organiser cancels the event, patrons will be issued complimentary tickets for a future event.
• Should there be no screenings in the future of the same event, the patrons will be issued a full refund.

1.7 Food and Beverage Policy:

These are alcohol free events.

Food and Beverage may not be brought into the event space, unless purchased (with such proof) from tenants in the Fourways Crossing retail centre.

The Promotors reserve the right to eject any person/s who is intoxicated and/or causing a disturbance to other patrons.

Such person/s will not be entitled to a refund or exchange of tickets.

Open flames of any sort, including gas/camping braais, may not be brought into or used in the event site.

Upon purchasing a ticket, the Patron agrees to be bound by the rules and regulations of the same.
