ABOUT

Why this topic?

Sex is supposed to be a source of connection and pleasure – but if you live with chronic pain, it can feel complicated, scary, or just plain painful and exhausting instead. For many women with conditions like Fibromyalgia, sex can mean flare ups, discomfort, and feeling like your body is working against you rather than with you. Sex, Pain and Possibility is a down-to-earth, judgment-free webinar created specifically for women of all ages who live with ongoing pain and still want (or wonder if it’s possible) to have a sexual life that feels safe, kind, and maybe even enjoyable.

Join this informative online event from the comfort of your coach and relax in a safe, supportive space with other women who understand where you're coming from.

What can you expect?

Together with Dr. Heather Blaylock (sexual health doctor) and Cindy Aberdein (mid-life health coach), we’ll talk honestly about what’s happening in your body, why pain can show up during sex, and what real-world options you have. You’ll learn about sexual response and anatomy in clear language, how conditions like Fibromyalgia and pelvic pain conditions can impact desire, arousal and comfort, and the many small, practical adjustments that can make intimacy feel more manageable and less triggering.

We’ll also touch on how to communicate with partners, advocate for yourself about this in medical settings, and honour your limits without giving up on pleasure or connection. You’ll leave with better understanding, realistic strategies, and a stronger sense that your pain is real – and so is your right to be treated with respect, to make choices that feel right for you, and to keep possibility on the table.

This webinar will give you lots of opportunities to ask questions about the interplay between sex and chronic pain BUT if you feel shy and prefer to stay anonymous, feel free to send your questions privately to us on [email protected] and we will raise them for you on the day!
