The Ardmore Encounter A Winter’s Day in the Country
A DAY GIVING BACK - TO THE ARDMORE COMMUNITY FUND
where you can help children in need turn imagination into empowerment through meaningful arts education.
Monday 15 th June
Nestled in the rolling hills of the Kwa-Zulu Natal Midlands, Ardmore is a place where art, nature, and tradition meet.
Misty mornings, crisp winter air and wide open skies set the scene for a truly memorable countryside encounter—
one that nourishes the senses and slows time, if only for a day.
09:00 |0930– A Warm Midlands Welcome
Your day begins with a heartfelt Ardmore welcome. Arrive to the comforting aroma of hot chocolate and freshly made cappuccinos. Take a moment to soak in the beauty of your surroundings: the stillness of the landscape, the craftsmanship of Ardmore, and the anticipation of something special about to unfold.
1000 Ardmore Atelier on the Arena
Ardmore artists, joined by their children, will grace the red carpet at the dressage arena, presenting exquisite looks inspired by Ardmore fabrics
and designed by the artists themselves.
The showcase promises to wow with its imagination and creativity
10:30 – The Art of Dressage
Be captivated by a jaw-dropping dressage performance by Megan and Catherine, daughters of the Ardmore family set to the enchanting rhythms of a live marimba band of the Thembelihle school .
Dressage is often described as the ballet of horse and rider—a refined art that celebrates harmony, precision, and trust. Every movement is the result of years of training, patience, and an unspoken conversation between horse and human. Against the Midlands backdrop, this elegant display becomes more than a performance—it’s an emotional, almost meditative experience, and a moment you’ll carry with you long after the day ends.
