Acclaimed Malaysian Tamil chef Shankar R. Santhiram, of the celebrated Fire by Shankar in Penang, presents an exclusive experiential cooking class in Johennesburg.
This intimate culinary journey explores the depth and sophistication of Malaysian Tamil cuisine, guiding participants through the traditions and techniques behind Kulambhu, Varuval, Peratal, Poriyal, and Kootu—each dish a reflection of heritage, balance, and flavour.
Guests will prepare three curated dishes and a dessert, followed by a refined shared lunch or dinner with Chef Shankar and his assistant, Chef Yogen.
